Reborn with “Dream Machine”
The German band Tokio Hotel is back with new tour and new album. The quartet was launched to fame in 2003 and its worldwide popularity went up like foam.
For 2017, Tokio Hotel has big projects in mind and wants to recover “lost time”. In an interview conducted by dpa, revealed that they feel freer to record and that their next tour will be called as the new album “Dream Machine”. In addition, this will have electronic roots.
“For the first time we are free at all levels and we can deal with whoever we want and get into the studio with whoever we want. That’s what we’re enjoying most at the moment,” said Tom Kaulitz, guitarist and co-founder of the quartet along with his brother Bill, both 27. In his plans is to start next year with his right foot, and in March will begin his tour. “We are always in the studio. ‘Dream Machine’ will be secure the name of the next disc. What form it will have and how many songs it will bring, we keep it for now for us,” said Tom.
Tokio Hotel brings a proposal that opens another stage in their career. “We’ve never enjoyed so much touring and playing live like last year. That’s why we have to go on tour soon, and we’ve announced it before the album arrives,” Tom detailed. However, they consider that it is not exactly an adult album. “For us, it’s almost the opposite. We do not try to be reasonable or grown-up or do something that feels adult, but to do something that we feel natural right now and maintain the innocence we had when we started, because we enjoyed it,” Bill added.
