The TH-Twins had just enrolled in school, when their parents separated/divorced in 1995.  It was a shock for Bill and Tom (now 20). Shortly after the divorce their mother, Simone got to know the musician, Gordon Trümper, and fell in love with him and in 2009 they married. Gordon became the loving stepfather of twins and he brought them music. Their biological father, Jörg, lives in Hannover and works as a truck driver.  He has barely any contact with Bill and Tom. The pain of the parents’s divorce is still there deep in them, so much so that both are afraid of long-term love relationships.
