Melancholic Paradise World Tour 2019

The band is constantly evolving in their art and growing. The band’s unique heritage, which will release their sixth studio album in 2019, consists of international hits and a very personal journey through two musical decades. Together with their fans, the band will immerse themselves deeply in all their songs, from the debut in 2005 to the all-new album 2019, due for release in 2019. Singer Bill adds: “A magical experience last summer inspired us to create the show – It’ll be a very special Tokio Hotel set list Created for our fans“.

Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg have never given up on their basic principles of very personal song writing and openness to new sound experiences and have never gone the easy way. Instead, they take risks to pursue an unprecedented career. Not only in music, but also on a visual level, Tokio Hotel dare to cross borders and be an exception. The quartet has become internationally known for exceptional live productions and visual masterpieces that create canvas for their mesmerizing soundscapes. Especially Bill is the creative force behind the eye-catching costumes, stunning stage sets and wacky light shows, always surprising and always courageous.

Out of their small hometown, Bill, Tom, Gustav and George set out to become an international phenomenon called Tokio Hotel. Contrary to expectations and despite their unorthodox career path, they have won more than 110 international and national awards including the US MTV VMA Moonman, five European Music Awards, four MTV Latin Music Awards and the MTV Japan Music Award. More than 10 million records have been sold worldwide, with platinum successes in 68 countries – and half a million people even met at the Eiffel Tower to see the eccentric and overwhelming live show at Tokio Hotel.

I rarely look back, but when I do that, I’m full of joy and nostalgia, and when I look forward, I feel melancholy as I did when I was 13 in my room, dreaming of the big stages of the world. In this new show we will put all these emotions into action, it’s going to be a crazy trip.”

New “Tokio Hotel” album? Bill and Tom Kaulitz give puzzling hints
Will Tokio Hotel bring out new music soon?

The former teen band from Magdeburg, which celebrated its international breakthrough with ‘Through the Monsoon’ in 2005, still has a loyal fan base today. However, this is just the puzzle of what the darlings do behind closed studio doors. Frontman Bill Kaulitz  is currently repeating hints that strongly suggest that a new album is on the march.

Just a week ago, the singer posted on his Instagram account a picture with a black background, on which only the pink lettering “melancholic paradise” can be read. He did not give a comment on this, but if you enter the words together with the band name on Google, a link appears from the ticket sales site Eventim, which announces a world tour in 2019. The link leads the fans, however, into the void. Now the 29-year-old has delivered another clue. In his Instagram story, he shared a selfie and wrote: “Just listening to the mix of our new songs while I’m on my way to New York.” New songs? This sounds very much like the fact that the group, which consists of Bill’s twin brother Tom Kaulitz, Georg Listing  and Gustav Schäfer, is actually working on a new album. Their last album ‘Dream Machine’ came out in 2017.

The fact that the ‘Easy’ hitmakers are also on tour with this new album soon is as good as confirmed. In the summer camp of the band, which took place in the summer with about 500 fans, vouchers for Tokio Hotel  concerts were already raffled in 2019. Do the fans really need more confirmation?
