Hamburg. The Rocker Tokio Hotel locked a lucrative advertising contract punctually to the lining up bustle around their new album. The four Magdeburger musicians will in the future give their faces and names for the mobile phone manufacturer Nokia. This was confirmed by thier manager David Jost on Tuesday evening through the German press agency, DPA. Over financial details of the contract he did not express himself.  So far Tokio Hotel has always held back itself  with image marketing; the musicians did not want to be connected too closely with Market logos of any brand.  A poster campaign of the store chain H&M was an action for AIDS, no commercial advertising deals. 

Jost:  “This contract is between the other poster-campaign and exclusive unplugged performances,” Concert with acoustic instruments will be held in Germany, the tickets will be a draw, not to buy.  The financial details of the contract Jost did not express.

For the Finnish mobile telephone manufacturer Tokio Hotel fits well into the mark strategy.
“Comes With Music” – Song flat rate for mobile phone – wants to make Nokia iPods and iPhones for the market leader Apple with its as well iTunes .
