We have not yet seen the twins like this!
Bill and Tom Kaulitz are the Coverboys of the german february issue of the magazine “GQ”, which comes out on Thursday. The two 19-year olds were photographed by Julian Broad, who already stood behind the camera for the Album Photoshoots of Robbie Williams and Mika.
The twins from the german Pop-Export Tokio Hotel are moulting into Style-Icons. They have always been self-confident. “I could imagine designing my own collection”, says Bill. His absolute Fashion-”No-Gos” are “real fur and the clothes that Tom wears.” Because also at the GQ-Shoot, Tom remained faithful to his preference for baggy pants. The brothers, with the completely different styles are their toughest critics when it comes to fashion: “When it comes to fashion, we find the style of one another shitty”, reveals Bill and Tom adds: “We can’t imagine to dress like the other. But the good thing is, I know how I would look like in Bills clothes, simply like Bill.”
Even if their styles are different, the twins feel very close to each other. “I know exactly what Bill thinks, and he knows what I think. Actually we don’t even have to talk to each other, we understand each other on a complete new level”, says Tom. “I would explain it like this: Everything that a human being carries, we divided among each other. Each one of us chose his area and specialized his skills. Bill is more the creative one of us, I’m more the Business-Person. If you add all our skills together, we’re like a person again. One Human being. A very broad-diversified human being.” Also for Bill it’s clear: “We can’t function when we’re seperated”. By the way, frontman Bill clarified in the interview with GQ: “We aren’t brothers, we’re identical twins. That makes the difference.”
By the way, Tokio Hotel are on the soon to be released Soundtrack of “Alice in Wonderland”, the new movie with Johnny Depp, directed by Tim Burton
I liked the whole thing… thank you for posting it… my fave was the part about Tokio Hotel being on the soundtrack… I’m sure you and everyone else has mentioned it… how in the devil did I miss it???
