The show this Friday, 28, was on account of the German band Tokio Hotel , formed by the twins Bill Kaulitz (vocals) and Tom Kaulitz (guitarist), bassist Georg Listing and drummer Gustav Schäfer.

With only one show in Brazil, the band returned to Sao Paulo to promote his latest album, “Kings of Suburbia”, released in 2014 and loaded with electronic influences, the result of experiences in Los Angeles in recent years.

With much play of light and images, Citibank Hall became a club for nearly two hours and did not stop for a moment.

At around 22pm, Bill came out with the first evening wardrobe (and three more over the presentation all designed in partnership with trendy designer Marco Marco.): A crown, sunglasses and a long, golden cloak. And so began the party with “We Found Us”.

Without the crown, but continuing his reign, “Girl Got A Gun” heated up the atmosphere even further and “Darkside Of The Sun” made everyone jump, keeping its most rock footprint as the previous album, Humanoid, 2009.

Between each song and another, Bill made sure if everyone was really having fun

“Covered In Gold” was dedicated to people heartbroken, but if anyone was there so certainly forgotten the frustration quickly, after all, the night was not to grieve and “Feel It All”, “Louder Than Love” and “Never Let you Down “took care to reaffirm it.

Increasingly special, “Kings Of Suburbia”, the album’s title track, gave a chance to some fans live a unique experience, even for a few minutes up on stage, interacting with the band and risking a few sentences into the microphone.

“Invaded”, “Run, Run, Run” and “Rescue Me” were played to thrill. But not to cool down for good, nothing like remembering “Automatic” and “Screamin'” which preceded the encore.

The concert ended with the beats of “Love Who Loves You Back” (if you have not seen the video clip it’s in to YouTube), a version slightly different from “Monsoon”, one of the most beloved band, and “Great Day” with a shower of shredded paper, at 23:40.

The tour heads to Chile and by the end of the year will visit Mexico, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.
