Members of Tokio Hotel Celebrate Birthday in Mexico

The German band returns to our country for two concerts, one of which will take place tonight in a capital forum

MEXICO CITY September 1.- With nearly three decades of work in the music scene, the German band Tokio Hotel is back in Mexico for two concerts, one of which will be held tonight in a capital forum where brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz will celebrate their birthday with a big party.

We are super happy to bring the whole production. We were on tour so long, we have not slept much but we are also very excited because this is the first time we will have a concert on our birthday and I think it will be special. We want to transform the place (Pepsi Center) into a nightclubBill Kaulitz said in an interview.

The concert today and tomorrow in Guadalajara, part of “Feel it All,” which stems from the latest material from the group, which were worked for four years to achieve a sound that defines.

For the first time we produced the whole album ourselves, we wanted to be very happy with each of the disk and are very proud.”

Now it’s more electronic than what we had before was much more rock, but we keep the sound that has characterized us since we have been together for about 15 years,” added the singer.

After leaving their native Germany to establish themselves as a major band that reached diverse audiences around the world, Bill and Tom Kaulitz and members Georg Listing and Gustav Schaefer, have grown and matured not only as musicians but on a personal level.

I think we now enjoy music, the show and ourselves in a way we had not done before, on the album is now our sound and we felt very comfortable with the show with which we have doing been so long but we’ve enjoyed every night.”

We put so much work in that means a lot and it’s great that the fans show their passion and love for our music; they are very passionate, the airport was crazy and that excites you, you will feel good and we love to come here,” said Bill, leader of the group.

Speaking of both the show and the lyrical content of the album, guitarist Tom Kaulitz, he noted the importance of change.

Our first albums were much sadder than the last, because in the latter there are more songs to party since we moved to Los Angeles and started another life to find a balance and our songs are about the wild life, the holidays and all that,” Tom said.

What is certain is that one in made better when sad, at least for me; I’m better when I’m sad, at least creatively.”

I will say our show is a rave party, we have many things included that have not been seen before, no video, lights were used, many instruments and really was a challenge to put this album that is electronic in a show because we have only three musicians, but have worked hard,” added Bill.

The musicians who could not imagined having a career beyond Germany and have now recorded successes and dates sold worldwide, still have 30 more shows of this tour, plus new projects.

Lots to do so we do not know where to start: Tom and I are writing a book, it will be a novel and it will be a lot of work. It’s a sarcastic, dark and twisted story about the music industry and is based on our experience but has fictional characters is a big project and we want to make this year..”

Then we go to Europe, we will also be in the studio to record and maybe do some solos, but we want to get the novel done this year,” concluded Bill.
